truck bounce

06' 350 CCLB Auto- Driving down the interstate and the truck will start to bounce(unloaded). Asphalt pavement is a much smoother ride. I have read of an air ride system...Kelleman? Any opions? I don't want to sacrifice load capacity, but would love a softer ride unloaded.

Kelderman air ride makes some awesome stuff. Check out this link. I don't know if it tells load capacity but you could contact them and find out. Kelderman Air Ride

Does it always do it consistantly and constantly at the same speed(s)? Or is it just intermittent?

extra info

The truck has SRW's, the frequency of the bounce increases with the speed from 40mph up to about 70mph then starts to smooth out. The tires are newly balanced, no cuping, Continentals (stock) inflated to 68psi. I will give Kelderman a call and see what I can find out about load ratings. Thanks.

My extended cab long bed does the same thing. I put new shocks on it and it helped a little. I think it's just natural for the longer wheelbase trucks

Mine does it too....the reason is when you are in town D.O.T. wants to keep semi trucks speed down for saftey, and being such a long truck you are picking up on the humps in the road.....
