Rear axle hub/shaft

Any tips out there on removing a stubborn rear axle shaft on an '06 F-350 SRW? I removed all of the flange bolts, banged on it with a hammer, got it to come out about a 1/16 of an inch but no more. It's not like you can use a puller, since the center come out too.
Was just going to check brakes when I found axle oil everywhere. Not enough to leak outside the disc/drum assy, but parking brake components are covered.

Any help appreciated.
