Clunking/popping from front left when hard over.

2005 6.0 F350 4x4 CC KR SB with 149,000 miles.

I recently did a bunch of front end work, tie rod ends, drag link, upper and lower ball joints, axel seals.

Since then I've been hearing some clunking from my left front when I've got my steering maxed out either direction, though it's notciably worse when making a hard right rather than hard left.
Axel shaft went back in just fine on reassembly but it did leak a little oil (I'm assuming gear oil) while I had it apart which I haven't replaced yet because it was maybe 1/8 quart.

My hubs are manually locked right now because I have to retap the threads for the left vaccume line hookup. Would that make a difference?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

With the hubs unlocked can you rotate the front axle shafts by hand? If not, the hub on that side isn't unlocking.

My 05 has done it since new if the hubs were locked, in full lock turns. It will also click and pop more if the u joints are getting dry and are needing grease.
