for the lift guys or anyone who knows

i need to know what my driveline should look like when it somes out of the transfer case, meaning how much of an angle in degrees is it on. i got an angle finder today and it is sitting at 14*. is that too much or too little? it is also at 14* where the driveshaft mounts to the rearend. there is a 7* difference in the driveline angle comapred to the angle of the rearend. should it be more than that or less? any help is appreciated.

Hey, I've already helped you with this. I think a picture is worth a thousand words. PM me your Email. I will draw it out and scan it to you.

As for your Tcase angle... you put the magnetic angle finder on the face of the flange. Sometime removing the Driveshaft makes it easier. Then check your pinion. Don't even worry about the Driveshaft yet. A- Tcase angle B- pinion. You're angle is going to be different than mine... b/c the truck might be/will be parked differently. does not have to be on level surface. As long as the truck doesn't move from the beginning to end of process.

7* difference between the Tcase and pinon!!!! You're in my boat. It's the your driveline angles are F'kd up real good boat. Welcome aboard. I think more trucks are too, just people don't care/know how to check or fix. There should be 0-2* difference between Tcase & pinion. pinion should be 2* down. Once you have the pinion is fixed, then shim the Carrier on the Dshaft until the 2pc shaft is "straight"; aka 1pc.
