One pop noise from front during med braking

I have an 04 F250 4X4. When I apply med braking there is a noticable pop. It appears to be forward of the firewall. I have checked both hubs and the axle shafts are free spinning. There appear to be no loose parts, i.e. shocks, swaybar, or bearings. Could this be an indication of a problem with the brake booster?

At only 70,000 miles, seems way to early. I will take the weight off the front when the rain moves out and see if there is any slop/play. Thanks
