Alignment Issues with Leveling Kit on 2WD
I just installed the leveling kit for 2WD trucks that is the two polyurethane spacers that are placed under the front springs. I purchased the kit from Fat Bob's Garage for those of you who are wondering. I installed new shocks on my truck as well.
I could tell that something was out of whack when I saw my truck after installing the leveling kit, the front camber was way off. I took it in to get aligned and they said it was at 3.5 and 4 degress off (positive)!!! They also told me the maximum correction they could make was 2 degrees. After the alignment the drivers side was "within spec" but the passenger side was still 0.5 degrees off... I'm driving cross country and don't want to have to worry about my alignment! Anyone else experience this? What about those tuff country axle pivot brackets? Do they make those for an '03 |
