transfer case squeal

did a 4x4 launch nothing too special just 6psi launch to 80km, shifted out of 4x4 around 60 (if it matters), my trans did what it hasnt in a while when i let off and wouldt shift into OD for a few seconds (which is a weak solenoid?) well anyways i didnt make much of that it was probably the third time ive experienced it.
anyways i drive about 30km and park for 2 hours then go drive home and i hear a sound coming from the truck, lower the window and i wasnt sure where it was coming from so i put it in 4wheel, sound goes away. put it back in 2, hear it briefly then its gone again. if i make a turn at any decent pace it comes back and some time hitting bumps at higher speeds.

since every time i engage or disengage the TF i hear the sound thats what id like to point the finger at, but i also drove slowly, about 15kmh and swung the wheel back and forth and i would hear it briefly at moments to.

sound is similar to a belt squeal but not nearly as high a pitch. hard to describe really maybe ill have an update tomorrow after my drive to work.

any help appreciated as always
