front end screeching

I have a 2006 F-350 srw FX4 with 102000 mi, and the front end has started making a screeching noise when I turn sounds metal on metal. The noise will go away if I hit the brake, and it dose not do it all the time I have to drive about 5-6 miles before I hear it. It’s on the passenger’s side; the truck also pulls a little to that side when stopping don’t know if that’s related to the noise or not. I put the truck on jack stands, and there is no play in the steering, ball joint, or bearings. You can spin both front wheels and no bearing noise. The passengers side drags a little more then the driver side, and there is a grove in the rotor on the passenger side. What is causing the noise? Thanks.
