Wheel hub??
Replaced my wheel hubs 1.5 yrs ago. Just had a lovely tow home cause I lost the drivers side. I will admit I was on a very tight budget when I replaced them before and bought cheap hubs.
Now the question, buy good quality Timkens or go with the free spin hub conversion? Sent from my PC36100 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

If you have the money, get the Dynatrac free spin kit. It will be the last time you have to replace the hubs.

so the wife said "NO" to the conversion kit, doesnt want to spend that kind of money right now
Anyone have a Link/Website you guys use, for Timken bearings? got a Part #?(4WD, 4wheel ABS, SRW)The Stealership is just way to overpriced. I called Tousley Ford today and that guy seemed like an idiot when i asked if the part he is looking at had Coarse or Fine thread studs. So i dont want to buy from them and get the wrong ones. when it comes to Timkens, do they make different versions of bearings for the same truck? ie, more than 1 part#? this is one that ive found for a good price, but are they GOOD Timkens? Its the fifth one down for my truck. 4WD, 4Wheel ABS, SRW. thanks guys... 03 2003 Ford F350 Super Duty Wheel Hub Assembly - Driveshaft & Axle - First Equipment Quality, National, PartsMaster, Pronto, Replacement, Timken, Front - PartsGeek |

Well when it comes to the wheel bearing hub assemblies, if i could, i would buy the timken bearing hubs, best around. Hands down, just depends on how much you wanna spend.
Im in the same boat as you are right now, i got one going out, just living on borrowed time before long. Im gonna get one from my local car parts store, 3 yr warranty and not too bad of a price. |

Don't buy one from your local store unless its timken. Thats what I did 2 winters ago. Now replacing them again.
So, does anyone know if timken makes different versions of the same bearing? Sent from my PC36100 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

Timkens or Dynatrac
OH and don't put your wife in the drivers seat . . . . and I am not talking about the drivers seat of your truck ;-) |

A couple of years ago I ordered timkens from Amazon. Make sure you get the right threads though. Sending back wrong parts adds up. Price wasn't bad if you have the time to wait.
