Hello..... need some help on any ideas for removing my stock castor cams. B4 u ask, i already reassembled as i needed the truck and couldnt have it down. I soaked the cam in pb blaster all morning and then used a pitman arm puller to try to remove it. As you can see the lip used to pull the cam out has broke on the right side if the pic. The nut was removed when trying to remove the cam. I am removing to install 5* cams to get my castor back to specs after a level kit
My question is for ideas on removal without removing the spindals and using a ball joint press to push it out. I do not have acess to an oxy acetylene torch, i was using a small bottle of mapp gas for heat.
I thought about welding washers on the cam to give me a new lip to pull against but not sure if it will work.any ideas would be helpful.
