05 harley edition F250 auto lock hub problems

I had a ton of problems with my 4wd ended up replacing the vacuum pump as well as the vacuum switch. I hear this clanking in the driverside front as if the hubs are trying to lock in as i drive it. I live up in maine and during the winter i used it for the snow and it worked fine. Well its spring time and a buddy got stuck and i went to pull him out luckly i went everywhere in 2wd i tried switching the 4wd swtich just to check and no dice no 4wd. I jumped out switched from AUTO to LOCK on the hubs and same thing. no 4wd what im wonderiing is is there aftermarket hubs that get away from the vaccum operated deal. I dont mind jumping out clicking them in lock and knowing they are locked instead of always having the vacuum fail on me.

Any options would be great thanks a lot

I was under the impression that warn hubs stoped at 2004 that they didnt make them for the 2005 is this not the case because Id love to cap the vacum hose and put in aftermarket. Esp after calling the dealership and they are wanting 250 a side for hubs no way

I know I need to open my hubs up and see what they look like as I heard some clanking after the winter 4x4 season this year. I have a feeling I'll be seeing the same thing...do we have to replace them with OEM units?
