Dually E-Brake problem

So my 06 Dually e brake doesn't work....doesn't even try....what gives?

Check your brake backing plates, they rust around the 2 pins that hold the drum pads in place. So A cheap fix is stainless washers with longer pins. I went to napa with the old pins and they matched up the same but longer. It has been 3 years now and I use the e brake whenever it is parked. New from ford backing plates around $150 EACH. Hope this helps.
