Intermittant transmission leak

Hey guys-my truck has 290k on it and runs like a dream. Transmission shifts smooth, never hunts for a gear, shifts solid and runs cool (factory trans). Every now and again she'll spring a leak. Not that severe, it appears to be coming from the dipstick area, maybe a bit higher, and leaks down by the trans lines. It will drip at the rate of 2-3 drips per second, and then stop leaking all of a sudden. Temperature doesn't seem to be an issue, trans has never gotten hot-last time it was at 155 degrees-I noticed it when I stopped for fuel. I shut the truck off, and the leak stopped (obviously due to the pump stopping) By the time I started her back up, it never came back. It's done this a few times randomly (sometimes unloaded, sometimes while towing) It's a little overfilled, and has never lost enough to show a difference on the dipstick. Quite frankly it doesn't really bother me, but I'd still like to know if anyone else has experienced this.
