If the tires aren't bad like said before you might try running dual steering stabilizers. We have had to put dual kits on two or three of our farm trucks that don't have lifts or bigger tires. When they would go down a rough highway the front tires would go nuts and the whole truck would start shaking. I don't know if urs is that bad or not but since we put the duals on it fixed that problem.

Well, I hate to say it but, those remedies are only band-aids. You have something else wrong that is causing the problem. Adding stabilizers only masks the problem for a little while. They are designed to reduce the shock load transmitted through the steering from the wheels hitting irregularities in the road, not steady faults in your front end. There are a few things that can cause your symptoms and a knowledgable front-end mechanic should be able to help you. There is no way I could even guess what the problem is with the little info provided but if you want to drop another line with your truck stats, I or one of the other people here may be able to point you in the right direction. Is your truck 4wd or 2? Is it lowered or lifted? What method of lift? OEM or aftermarket wheels? Tire size...yadda..yadda?
