rpm too high

I just took a set of 35x12.50 mudders off my truck and returned it to stock rubber. I am now experinceing high rpm at highway speed and it seems the boost is also up. Not sure were to start problem solving, it has an edge juice under the hood but im missing the attitude from inside. Is this what may be causeing the problem? Any help is welcome.

It could be. It could also be that the previous owner re-geared it because of larger tires/lift. That would be my first suspicion.
