06 F250 4wd not working
When I select 4wd (hi or low) on my '06 F250, no 4x4 light, no 4wd. Fuses look good, so do the connections on the t-case. I was thinking of starting with the shift-on-the-fly control module ($100), but wonder if anyone has found a different problem before I start throwing $$$ at it. Thanks.

T-case shift motor. Just under $800 installed at the dealer.
Good luck. |

Had the same problem on my old Expedition. I read on one of the Ford forms,, the first thing to try, is to give the shift motor a few sharp smacks with a piece of 2x4. It started working after that and I had no further problems with it right up until I sold it.
Sometimes a good bash puts things back in working order. |
