Rear brake backing plate

I recently discovered an issue with the parking brake on the right rear of my truck. When I removed the rotor / parking drum assembly I found the parking brake hardware in numerous ground up pieces. I've removed all the loose parts and put everything back together to make the truck drivable. When everything was apart, I noticed that the backing plate is rusted through. Does anyone know the part number for this plate?

I also found what I think is an aftermarket plate as well. It's DORMAN Part # 924-212. Has anyone purchased this plate and did it fit properly?

Looks right to me. I have used plenty of Dorman parts in the past. Fit and finish have always been acceptable.

I think that I'll order it up. It will be nice to work on another part of the truck than the engine!

Haha I am having the same problem. $185 for that backing plate per side!..both of mine are junk, driver side hub needs replaced as well as brakes and rotors..all on my 2006. IRS tore apart waiting on parts..not happy that I have $800 in it so far when I just planned on a brake job

Also is there any place to get the little arm that spreads the e-brake pads? The arm that attaches to the cable. Mine is rusted solid and doesn't spread apart anymore.
