limited slip diffs

Hi my name is chris.

I was wondering if anyone know what kind of limited slip diffs. these trucks have.

Ok this is my deal! I was tring to go up a road on steep hill in two feet of snow. When got stuck! I was working the truck back and forth.Then realized
that both left wheels would not even try to pull till I got the rpms up. I would have to get the rpms up to 3000 for 5-10 sec. before the rear would engage.
And when it did I though it was going to brake something. I end up stuck because my diffs were not working!

Are these thangs gov-lock or what?

If I remember correctly the limited slip requires the tires to break loose for a short period of time before it will engage. Posi-track will lock up faster and a locker is full time. Some other members know how to explain it better than I do.

yea the limitied slips in these trucks SUCK!!!
