rear end hop ?

just wondering if anyone can tell me why my rear end hops when the tires are slipping in the snow it bounces the rear of the truck pretty good . and its in 2wd . thanx

dont know but here in okc we received a foot of snow and mine was doing the same thing front and rear while in 4wd hopping like crazy this my first experience with this because my dodge never hopped no matter how much my wheels spinned.. frustrating feels like something is gonna break!
