alignment???

so ive just replaced both front wheel/unit bearings. driver side had play in it and made noise. Passenger side seemed to have no problems, but since i was under there and doing one anyways, i figured id do both. anyhow, now that Ive replaced them, my alignment seems to be off. it wanders like a SOB down the road now. Any takers on why this is? possible the loose bearing caused a alignment issue not noticeable till bearing was fixed?
