Exclamation 4X4 help thumping sound

Ok so this is the first time since last year I used my 4h, I just installed new warn manual hubs in replace of the auto hubs. Now I have a loud thumping sound coming from the underside. 4H engages and works, light comes on, also their is a loud squeal, the faster I go the louder both get. Please help any ideas

2004 F250 PSD, crewcab short bed 5" dual stack bull haulers. strait pipe from turbo back.

update, the faster I go the louder and faster the thumping gets, any help would be great

have you checked the axle and joints?

grab and shake near the joints,shouldnt be much movement.also check your drive shaft the same way.hopefully some other guys will chime in with some ideas

Ok so I found a problem, not sure if this is the problem, the front U-joint on the front drive shaft is shot, lots of play. Any idea how to replace them and whats involved. Its the double joint.

correction the U-joint with the play is the rear double one that connects the transfer case to the front drive shaft

never done it but if i member correctly it should have a snap ring on one or both sides of the pins.take those off and then push out the pins with either a pin punch and hammer or a screw press of some sorts.

might want to try to find better ones.usually when something breaks on my truck i try to buy an upgraded part
