4x4 help for 05F250 PSD

Hi, can anyone help with my FWD issue. I can engauge the fwd if I lock the hubs in manually however the truck will not enguage if i try the aoto lock feature in the cab. The 4x4 light comes on but the truck does not engauge in FWD. I checked the fuses and they all look good also there is a gray and a black vacume line on the passenger side of the truck, I am not sure wear the gray line goes. thanks.

yeah i have this problem as well so ill keep watching this forum

You have a vacuum leak. That is why they arent engaging. Very common problem if you do a search here on the forums. You will have to trace the leak down through the vac system which will be difficult but 9 out of 10 times that is the problem.

Thanks for the insite guys, I am going to have to wait untill spring to look for the leak, the temp here in Pa. has been in the single digits for the past several weeks. To cold to poke around.
