front end trouble

i have an 04 350 6.0 my front axel is turning while i drive and i know a ford shouldnt do that my question is, are my hubs not unlocking and stuck in lock or is my ele. 4x4 not diangaging it makes a nasty rubbing noise while driving. i have them hubs that have the auto or lock positon. please help

well iv come to the conculstion that it is coming from the front passenger side wheel i jack it up aand that side trys to grab while i turn it

can u get inside the hub by taking out the snap ring out and pullin the lock knob out
