Death Wobble... What to replace next?

I've had some play in my front end for some time. Here lately it's getting worse to the point it felt like it was skipping over a gear in the gearbox and take off sharply in the other direction. Well after trying to find a gearbox for the truck this week (no luck at any parts stores or ford dealers) I finally found 1 at a salvage yard. The doner truck was a 07 same as mine with only 7k on it.. Got the gearbox switched over, and now pretty much same problem.. Front end feels tighter, but even at low speeds I can let go of the steering wheel and it will go back and forth on it's own from left to right.. I'm at a loss... Power steering pump? contaminated oil? Bad gearbox? Not sure where to go from here so any and all help would surely be appreciated..

Thanks,
Flatbedin

how many miles on your truck? that front-end is known for bump-steer if the bushings are worn in the front radius arms. it would do exactly what you're describing. hope this helps
