hub rebuild ?
I've got a 04 250 super duty 4x4 . I think the needle bearings are out in the front left hub . Do you need any special Ford tools to tear it down . Thanks

You need to order a complete hub assembly as they are not rebuildable. As you may have guessed, they are stupid spendy ($400-500). I think the only special tool you need are snap ring pliers in order to pull the 4X4 hub. I had to replace one on my 2006 F250 before I sold it.

Agreed with cubalz.. had to replace the right front on mine a couple months ago. The only pain was getting the old hub assembly separated from the flange. A large putty knife (and some patience) helped out. I think I picked up my hub assy from NAPA down here for around $400 out the door.
