06 tranny don't shift when cold

my 06 with the torque shift does not want to shift right intill the tranny warms up even when the temp is 50 degrees out. I have to give it fuel let go of the pedal and it will shift hard into gear. but as soon as the gauge shows its warmed up it shift great.

When was the last time you dropped the pan and changed the fluids and filters? When you remove the pan, take a look at the internal magnet. That will tell you if there is a problem.

just to make sure you know their is a in line trans filter up front by the passenger side front wheel well, also on some models their is a third filter in line on passenger side on trans just above the pan. not to mention the screen in the pan.

Check your fluid level. Also with custom tunes they are programmed to cut power up until the fluid reaches roughly 100 degrees
