lifted 06 with vibration

06 4wd cc sb w/4" lift and 35's when I start off from a dead stop there is a small vibration that feels as though it is coming from the rear of the truck from 0-10mph and then it is gone, it is stronger when I have a loaded trailer behind me, is this normal, could it be due to the lift? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps a U joint. Check it to see if its good or not. Or is this your first set of mud tires (if you have them)? Thats how they feel with all the knobs on the pavement.

Did you drop the carrier bearing or use tapered or flat rear blocks?

Sounds like you need a 1" carrier bearing drop. My 06 I used to have did when I installed a 4.5" lift. I would shutter during take off from a dead stop. The drop fixed it. You can get one for $50.00 shipped.

Yes, I have a 1" drop installed, I just dont want to be damaging something if that is what the vibration is representing, and no I dont have mud grips. Thanks for the help!
