auto 4wd?
ok my since i have had my truck the hubs have never locked in auto but they will lock manually. i finally got around to trying to track it down. well i found the problem but not sure why its happening. i found that the colenoid on the passenger side under hood right by the vac pump and res. is not actuating when it should. i looked up some info on it and the 4wd control module is suppose to apply ground for the solenoid to open and aplly vac to hubs. well its not but i can apply ground and it will work. im thinking that the control module is bad possibly can i just cut the wire and run it to a switch and be able to just apply ground my self?
