Acceleration Vibration only newb help

First I want to say I'm happy I joined on here and Thanks,\
2nd I searched but others have more vibs at other speeds.

I just bought a 05 250 psd. I know nothing about diesels but I bought it to tow my cars. My issue is under hard accel there is a strong vibration under my feet and vibs untill I stop accel. The truck runs great other than that. I read about shutter but it doesn't do it at 1/2 or even 1/2 throttle but awaks when I hit it in 1st, 2nd on highway. I looked at u joints but ? can't tell. Are there many differences between ujoint failure, converter shudder or carrier bearing. My truck is 100% stock for now. I appreciate any help Kyle

I never experienced converter shudder and lets hope that isn't the case here. If you have a stock truck I'd edge more towards U-joints being worn before looking at tranny and the diff. Good way I always found to check my U-joints is to grab onto the drive shaft and try to wiggle it. 9 times out of 10 if the U-joint was bad it wobbled at the knuckle

inspected and removed driveshaf when I first tried moving it it didn't budge at all the ujoints seem good.I'm going to replace all three and I might as well replace the carrier bearing. I just hope this will do it I"m going to post the results when I get the chance thanks devil dog.
