When I got my truck it had a 7 pin in the bed, a 6 pin round that was smashed and a 4 pin that was wrong on the bumper. I need a 7 pin on the bumper so I pulled out what was there, and tried to trace the wires to the factory ford connector. They made no sense at all, might explain why the running lights came on when you hit the brakes. So there goes the easy way

I have a spare 7 pin connector and the factory ford connector (square, looks like 3 large and 4 small pins in it. Does anyone have a pinout or wire color sheet on which one goes where. The colors do not match the standards for trailer wiring.
