Hey Peppy I am doing the same thing but mine is a 1992 Bronco. I have been wondering the same question because I want to keep the 44 until I can afford to do the Dana 60 swap.

I was actually ready to do the rear a few months ago & I took it apart to do a brake job & when I went back to get install the new rotors someone STOLE it! So now I have to wait until I can afford to purchase another set of axles. I think its going to be a while because to do the front end is very expensive & I don't do fab work myself so I have to pay someone.

Check out eBay, there is a kit available. This is the item # 110241355145, just put the item number in the search & it should come up.

Good Luck,
Anthony
