Interesting. My first thought was that we use our trucks at work. Then I was thinking maybe you could leave it at work and do this.
Unfortunately right now I drive 1300 miles to work. I would never make it in time. I did ride my motorcycle to the office for a meeting last week. I figured it saved 70 gallons of diesel and used 40 gallons of gas. Half price with the difference of premium gas vs diesel.
Your savings on a bicycle would be way more than fuel alone. Maintenance cost is next to nothing on a bicycle.
