Its funny when I started out we had a 1985 F350 short wheel base truck with a 6.9 diesel and a 4 speed had a Holmes 480 twin line wrecker unit with a sling.. man that was a fun truck I'm siting here smiling right now thinking about all the fun I had in that truck I use to get stuff that was soooo stuck in snow or cars full of water, and the front of the tow truck would lift off the ground a good 3 or 4 feet.. id sit back and watch it bob until the front tires were back on the ground then do it again...lol thank god for the scotch blocks with teeth to anchor the truck...
then they moved me into a 1989 FSuperduty with a 7.3 and a 5 speed with a long wheel base truck fitted with a Century 411 street runner wrecker unit (hydraulic telescopic boom and wheel lift wooohoooo) lol
then a 1997 F450 7.3 5 speed with Century 411 street runner wrecker unit, then onto
1999 F550 7.3 6 speed with Century 19 1/2 foot aluminum carrier and wheel lift best truck of all of them with the exception of my ol 86 then onto
(not proud of this truck except for its looks)
2003 F550 6.0
6 speed with Century 19 1/2 foot aluminum carrier and wheel lift.. that's what I'm still in
we still have all these truck except for the 1986 and 1989
