We would have never found that deer without he dog. All we had was where he went into the brush 15 yards from where he was hit. There were also 16 other deer there with him that all went the same direction. We never found a drop of blood,bone,hair,anything. Only reason I knew he was shot was the spot of blood I saw on the buck running off after he shot it. The dog trailed him up and jumped him about 400 yards from us and ran him about a half mile before he finally bayed.
