I am fairly new here and though I understand diesels fairly well the whole flash programmer and all is new to me. I am old school where you took the computer out and hooked up the chip and put it back in.
If you don't want to put in a pillar gauge pod you better buy the Livewire and if you want the gauges just go with the Xcal2. I am sure there are other differences but isn't that the main one? I am going to buy one or the other and I really don't need a bunch more gauges as Tuscany Conversions and already tricked the inside of the truck out pretty well.
