Forget the cam, get a girdle/mainstud kit in there.
Add chromoly push rods to your list.
Skip the DD clutch if you're swapping in an automatic later.
Reason for lockers over true-trac's?
Forget the allison - the 4R100 is a much better tranny when built by BTS.
Why compounds? Unless you plan to go with bigger injectors - there really is no reason.
