My 01 actually stuck on me one day. I'm not real sure on the recalls. If there are any, your ford dealer should be able to tell you of them. Mine for some reason just started to smoke really bad. I took it all a part and sprayed it with JB 80. Seems to be ok now. If you do replace it on your own, check with your local parts store before you tear down the brake,cause none of the parts stores in my area had one. THey had to order it in. That really sucks when your down to the brake with no new parts.
