I believe the oring was the wrong size. I tried to match it up in the o ring bin at Oreiley. The o ring was actually coming out around the plug (blowing out). Always recheck your work. I began this journey of the oil leak thinking it was the rear main seal. So I pulled the tranny in my gravel driveway ( shade tree style). Put it back together still leaked the I spoke to some friends and that was when I was told to check the HPOP and I found the problem. $.36 for the oring and 10 minutes the oil stopped for a little bit till yesterday when the truck quit (because I was so low on oil). I found that the o ring has started leaking again. I will try to find another today on easter weekend.
