I have a '97 F250 Crewcab Shortbed Auto

I read the post about the CMP (CPS) on the 7.3, and the problems that arise from them. I was having trouble with rough starts and intermittent misses with my truck, and this was in August/September.

The weather in Southern Utah is still nice at this time of year, and I am a first time diesel owner. I wasn't convinced that my ride was as cold-blooded as it seemed.

I didn't know what to do about the troubles that I was having, and after a freak snowstorm, my truck would no longer start and the tach wouldn't budge when I was trying to start it.

That post about the symptoms of CMP failure and the removal/installation of the new sensor helped me out a great deal.

New sensor, and the old girl fired right up. I was stoked!
