I am an HVAC service tech and I wouldnt do anything else. Well, except build custom hot rods or muscle cars for somelike the late Boyd coddington, or Chip Foose. But, ahem, I digress. I know that the HVAC field is going gangbusters. I have been doing it for over 5 years now. almost 6. we had ads in the paper for people wanting jobs in our field, service, install, gas piping, generator install, residential add on and replacement. EVERY one that came in for an interview wanted a install job. No one inquired about service. If you wanna make good money and like using your brain, like I do, got for the service tech job. its always challenging, and always in need of people that can do service. Helps to know it cause oyu never know whos gonna see you out and inquire about working on the side. Thats BIG money, no taxes, and all profit for your labor. I got bored doing installs cause it was the smae thing all the time, hang duct, set units, hang duct, set units. In service its always changing, every job is different. Oh, and if you know it in AZ, then you will know it NC, DC, or any other state. Just my opinion.
