I'm looking at new tires myself - dang, that's going to cost a pretty penny. Also want better off road performance, but don't want mud tires 'cause they wear too fast and make too much of a racket on the road.

Top of my list is Goodrich AT's. Had them on my Ranger, and they were a pretty good compromise of off road traction, tread wear, and on road noise.
