Use brake cleaner to clean them real good then when you finally feel they are clean, clean them once more with rubbing alcohol. Then spray the inside of the boots with hairspray and put it all together and clamp it. Don't drive it until the hairspray has time to dry. Make sure to clean the inside of the boots and the outside of the intercooler fittings and intake Y. It will work, I was running up to 40psi+ and did not blow a boot after I did this.
