well not that Im trying to be a jerk, but why get rid of the cummins? I thought it was better for pulling, and after you just spent a ton of money on it, have you done anything to the dodge to help performance? I love our excursion, and love the ride of the superduty versus dodge, but if you want the trailer towing monster, I would juice up the dodge, since you are going to be putting a ton of money int the ford to pull that big of a trailer....just so as not to cause more confusion, anything over the 800 i had to spend for our turbo that just went south is a ton of money for us.

as you said without breaking the bank AGAIN...what exactly has been done to the dodge engine wise?....AGAIN, dont get me wrong, we love our truck, we also have 5 kids, and one on the way, so when you said you dont want to break the bank, Id suggest sticking it out with the dodge, unless you have to have the ride of the superduty, or the look, but then if thats the case, then look for a manual. I dont know half of what most of the guys on this forums know, but I do know the 7.3 powerstrokes can peg an egt guage quicker then anyother rig(personal experience only) there is a webpage...guzzles or soemthing, I remember reading it twice, and he had alot of tips and tricks. I would just be hesitant to spend a bunch of money (after you just spent how much?) cause of the good looks, ride, and reliability of the 7.3 superduty's...I mean after that much into the cummins, you cant be far off from where you want to be?????
