Hmmm. Not sure that this is a wise idea, since you are attempting to alter the same or similar engine parameters with two different programmers. If you are going to buy something, go with an SCT and this won't be a problem. The SCT will truly tune your engine and not simply mask your existing stock programming and sensor readings. Your dealer will create the tunes based upon your specifications, so you won't get something that might make you uncomfortable about breaking stuff on your truck. Also, I'm pretty sure that you can continue to use your 6gun exclusively as a digital gauge pod with the SCT. Good luck!
