Snow plow package? Is that what it says on the window sticker? That maybe the case, but I would think the fan would only kick up like that if the truck was under a heavy load, like pulling or plowing ......also remember it is super tight in there and just because its cold outside don't mean its cold inside that engine bay. To be safe I'd take it in and see what the dealer says
