Be careful if you decide to change the front joints in the rear shaft. Mine has a double U-joint in the front and there is also a ball and socket with lots of tiny little needle bearings that will go everywhere when you take it apart. I bought new U-joints with no problem but could not find anywhere that sold the ball and socket bearing. The Ford place said you had to replace the whole drive shaft. I went home and spent hours trying to find all the old needles and clean them and put it all back together. That was about 3 years ago so it worked good but was a real pain.
