It is probably your bypass line, they are known to go bad. Some folks eliminate them. Your temps aren't near dangerous levels but they shouldn't be that high in umloaded winter driving. Get the trans up to temp and grab the bypass line. If it is warm the bypass valve is bad and you need to replace the line.
