is it 2x4 or 4x4? i no a guy who did a conversion on a 01 4x4. he found a rear axle with matching gears and swapped it in, straight fit. he also bought a set of adapters for the front to accommodate the dually front wheels. don't know where he got the adapters from though. his is a short bed and he has a flat bed, but i remember him saying that they made a stock dually short bed. if you can find the parts it should be fairly easy and really sweet with a real bed instead of a flatbed.
