Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know how much things like these little packages are appreciated by the soldiers over here. I am new to this forum and am also an 88M (motor transport operator) deployed to LSA Adder, Iraq with the 603rd Trans. Co.. We have been here for about 7 months on a 15 month tour of duty and spend 90% of our time providing convoy security on some of the most dangerous roads in Iraq. With that said, nothing helps a soldier's moral more than to get back in from a mission to find a package or any type of mail waiting for them to let them know that people back home care about them and are thankful for the sacrifices they are willing to make for such little compensation. Being a soldier is truely a lobaor of love and getting that mail at the end of a mission reminds you just what you are over here working to protect. From the mouth of a soldier, thank you all for your support and prayers.
