a decent dealer would probably only charge you an hour or hour and a half to fix it if that is what the problem is. You can usually look up from the bottom and see the oil dripping out of the heat cover that goes around the wiring over the drivers side of the tranny at the back of the motor...

This may be my solution to fixing it. Going to sleep on it, but right now I'm just about pissed enough to do it.
